Seven Months!
While this is coming quickly on the heals of our (belated) five and six month post, here is the latest in the world of the Panda family! As the weather here in Groomsport starts the turn from summer to autumn, we are also seeing changes with our little guy. We are quickly moving into larger sizes of clothing, and moving out of our Moses Basket. This means that over the last week we have begun the project of introducing the little guy to his new cot (or crib for our American friends!). While it is a work in progress, we are all sleeping a little better (on most nights at least).
In addition to getting bigger, the Little Panda is also making great strides in the tooth department. We have three teeth fully in, with another just about to make its appearance. These additions are making our adventures with solid foods more enjoyable. Just this afternoon we figured out that if we bite down on the pear, a bit will come off in our mouth. So exciting! Of course, softer things are easier to eat, and we LOVE our recent adventures with homemade prune and orange juice purée (check out the last two photos below to see just how much).
If you have been following along for a while, you will be familiar with Mr. Panda as he is a regular feature in our monthly photos. This month Mr. Panda continues to feature, but he has a new friend as well! Thanks to a very kind friend and former student, we now have Mr. Dinosaur to join in the fun. We thought this would be a good time for him to make his debut.
