Little Panda: Month the Third
It feels like yesterday I was writing about the Little Panda's second month, but we are already celebrating three months with him in our lives! This past month has seen quite a few firsts for the little guy and our family, along with some challenging moments. We are looking forward to even more excitement in the weeks and months to come!
This past month we have had vaccinations (two rounds!) which led to our first fever, we went on our first overnight trip, and met our first set of grandparents. During the month there were some concerns about his weight (likely due to the fever), so that led to some additional visits to the doctor. Thanks to one of these visits, we found out that the Little Panda had a slight tongue-tie (where the piece of skin that holds your tongue to the bottom of your mouth is too short or far forward), which meant a quick, but not very pleasant procedure to free the tongue. This should mean he will have an easier time eating as the weeks go on.
We have had had several rounds of visitors this month, with more to come over the summer. This has been excellent, especially as the Little Panda is starting to meet some of the many people who love him. One of our visitors was kind enough to take a series of photos of the Panda family, so there are a few more than normal for our monthly update. I hope you enjoy!
